Where Your New
Journey Begins
Remember your first favorite song? The one you played on repeat until you knew every note by heart. Your first album that felt like it was made just for you. That first live concert that gave you chills.
Terra isn’t just another pair of IEMs. It’s an invitation to rediscover your entire music collection - to experience that same rush of excitement, but with every subtle detail revealed. Created in our Warsaw workshop, it combines precise engineering with artisan craftsmanship to bring out layers of sound you never knew existed.
Ready to hear your favorite tracks as if it was the first time?
“Everything until now was rehearsal. This is where the real performance starts.”
Six Drivers
Inside each Terra, six precision drivers create music together - like a perfectly synchronized band. The powerful titanium driver lays down the foundation with deep, physical bass. Two balanced armatures shape the rhythmic heart of your music. Another pair adds the emotional richness of vocals and instruments. And our custom super tweeter? It creates that magical sparkle and opens up the space around your music - like being in the perfect acoustic venue.
But Terra isn’t just about technical wizardry (though we love that stuff). It’s about feeling every breath before the vocal line, catching that subtle finger slide on the guitar string, being there in the moment when the music was created.
Want to know what makes this band truly special?

The story beyond
How determination and a last-minute gamble createdsomething special
Terra’s development story spans almost two years of ambition, experimentation, and some crazy decisions that somehow worked out perfectly:
The Challenge:
Despite having a full lineup of successful IEMs, in early 2023, we decided to do something completely different. We wanted to create the perfect ‘gateway’ to serious audiophile territory - around the $1000 mark. Not just another IEM, but something that would make both newcomers and experienced listeners say ‘wow.’ We were aiming for that elusive ‘all-rounder’ that could be both technically excellent and incredibly musical.
The Journey:
Thanks to our experience with hybrid designs in Pneuma V2 and Anima, we knew what was possible. But Terra needed to be different - we wanted to find the absolute sweet spot between performance and accessibility. This meant countless hours of testing different driver combinations. One of the biggest challenges in multi-driver designs is finding drivers that not only perform well individually but create seamless transitions between frequency ranges.
The Development:
The first advanced prototypes emerged in December 2023. We sent them to trusted listeners worldwide, gathering feedback and continuously refining the design. We knew Terra would become the foundation for a new product line, so every decision had to be perfect. By late 2023, we had two final tuning versions that we were happy with.
The Plot Twist:
Then, in January 2024, came what seemed like a crazy idea: what if we put Terra in an aluminum shell? Until then, all our IEMs used 3D-printed resin shells. When Emil proposed this to our chief technician, the response was: ‘Have you lost your mind?’ Adapting the design for aluminum while maintaining perfect acoustic properties seemed almost impossible with our timeline.
But sometimes the crazy ideas are the best ones. Despite the enormous chal- lenge, the whole team got inspired. We decided to go all-in, working around the clock to make it happen.
The Final Sprint:
We brought both tuning versions to CanJam Singapore 2024. After gathering extensive feedback from listeners and industry professionals, one version emerged as clearly superior. This became the final Terra that debuted in September 2024.
What Makes It Special: The final configuration represents everything we’ve learned about hybrid designs since 2012. Each driver was chosen not just for its individual performance, but for how it works with others. The result is something we’re incredibly proud of - a true gateway to high-end audio that punches way above its price point.

How a bassist’s experience shaped the perfect low end
The story of TiTE™ Module reflects our deep understanding of bass reproduction, shaped by years of experience both on stage and in design:
The Bass Player’s Perspective:
As a bassist, Emil’s connection with low frequencies goes beyond just listening. Years of experience with bass amplification systems taught him crucial lessons about bass reproduction. His favorite bass cabinets were always closed designs with rigid cones and soft suspensions - de-livering quick, punchy, and powerful bass that starts and stops precisely.
The Search:
We knew modern dynamic drivers had evolved significantly, offering new possibilities. The search involved prototyping with various 6mm, 7mm, 8mm, and 9mm drivers with different membrane materials. After extensive testing, a 7mm titanium-diaphragm driver emerged as the clear winner.
The Discovery:
What made this particular driver special? Despite its relatively small size, it featured: - Soft suspension for deep bass extension - Rigid titanium membrane that moves as a whole - Perfect balance of lightness and stiffness - Exceptional behavior in closed enclosures - No driver flex issues.
The Implementation Challenge:
The next phase was implementation. We needed to: - Find the perfect crossover point with other drivers - Design optimal housing placement - Create an acoustic waveguide that would act as a low-pass filter - Achieve maximum acoustic isolation
The Enclosure Philosophy:
Contrary to popular belief, a non-vented design offers several advantages. While some believe venting is necessary for pressure equalization, this is actually handled by the Eustachian tube in your ear. A sealed design maximizes isolation and allows for more controlled bass response - much like those closed bass cabinets that deliver tight, punchy low end.
The Result:
The final implementation combines the best of both worlds - the speed and precision of professional bass amplification with the intimacy and detail of high-end IEMs. It’s a bass response that’s not just heard, but felt - fast, powerful, and perfectly controlled.

How childhood memories and acoustic physics shaped our super tweeter
The HERO™ Super Tweeter story combines nostalgia, physics, and some unconventional thinking:
The Journey to Perfect Highs:
Having experience with both electrostatic and balanced armature tweeters, we knew their strengths and limitations. Electro-statics offered a certain smoothness, while balanced armatures often exhibited a slightly metallic character. Then we discovered the RAU driver, with its exceptional high-frequency extension to 25kHz.
The Frequency Question:
Many ask why we need extension beyond human hearing (20kHz) or even typical music production limits (16kHz). The answer lies in headroom - when a system can handle frequencies well beyond our hearing range, it reproduces the audible spectrum with significantly less distortion and greater ease. It’s like a car engine that’s comfortable at highway speeds because it’s capable of much more.
The 80s Connection:
Emil often jokes about being an ’80s kid, with his first musical experiences coming from cassette tapes. That magnetic tape had a very specific, smooth high-frequency character. While technology has moved forward, that aesthetic preference for smooth, natural treble remained a core goal for Terra.
The Breakthrough:
Traditional balanced armature drivers use a round port that forces high frequencies through a narrow tube, creating resonances that our ears perceive as harshness. We took a radical approach: placing the RAU driver directly in the nozzle and replacing the traditional round port with a precision slot.
The Physics:
For very high frequencies, where wavelengths are comparable tothe size of the ear canal (around 3mm for quarter-wavelength), the way sound isdelivered becomes crucial. Our slot design projects sound more evenly through-out the ear canal, reducing resonances and allowing more uncolored sound toreach the eardrum.
The Speaker Connection:
Our slot design was inspired by two professional audio technologies: - Ribbon tweeters, which generate cylindrical rather than spherical wavefronts for high frequencies, providing more even and controlled dispersion - Line array systems, where elongated sound sources create cylindrical wave propagation for better directivity and efficiency.
The Engineering Challenge:
Implementing this design was a battle for every 0.1mm of space. We needed to: - Fit the RAU driver in the nozzle - Create space for other frequency channels - Design a protective mesh that wouldn’t interfere with the sound - Maintain ergonomic shell size.
The Result:
Look closely at Terra, and you’ll see the RAU driver behind the protective mesh - delivering high frequencies directly to your ear, just as nature intended. It’s a design that combines childhood memories of smooth tape highs with cutting-edge acoustic engineering.
VARIBORE™ DESIGN
In audio, precision matters. Our VariBore™ design controls sound paths with microscopic accuracy - down to tenths of a millimeter. For every frequency range, we’ve crafted the perfect acoustic pathway.
The result? High frequencies that soar freely without harshness. A soundstage that extends beyond what you thought possible from IEMs. Music that flows naturally, exactly as it was meant to be heard.

Sound Path Engineering
VariBore™ is our approach to acoustic path optimization:
Different frequencies behave differently in acoustic tubes. High frequencies suffer from friction losses along tube walls, while low frequencies can be effectively filtered through smaller passages. Moreover, for high frequencies with their shorter wavelengths, tube length significantly affects phase - less so for low frequencies with longer wavelengths.
Custom bore diameter for each frequency range - Precision- calculated acoustic lengths - Optimized internal geometry - Carefully tuned damping points.
Clean, unrestricted high frequencies - Full, natural midrange - Deep, controlled bass - Perfect phase coherency - Natural soundstage development.

The story beyond
When acoustic science meets engineering art
The VariBore™ story isn’t about a single technology - it’s about a design philosophy that’s been evolving since our earliest days:
The Fundamental Philosophy:
Different frequencies need different paths. It sounds simple, but implementing this idea requires deep understanding of acoustic behavior. It’s not just about moving sound - it’s about orchestrating a complex interaction between waves, spaces, and materials.
The Physics Behind It:
High & Mid Frequencies: - Higher frequencies mean faster acoustic particle velocity - Friction increases with the square of velocity (just like air resistance on cars) - Larger bore diameters reduce friction losses - Tube length significantly affects phase alignment - Strategic damping placement can selectively control specific frequencies.
Low Frequencies:
Less sensitive to phase due to longer wavelengths - Tube length and diameter create acoustic impedance - Smaller diameters and longer paths act as natural low-pass filters.
The Racing Car Analogy:
Our approach shares interesting parallels with performance car exhaust systems. Just as a racing engine’s exhaust manifold and piping affect power delivery across different RPMs, our acoustic waveguides influence frequency response. Both systems deal with pressure waves, resonances, and the challenge of extracting maximum performance across different frequency ranges.
The Terra Challenge:
Implementing VariBore™ in Terra presented unique challenges: - Limited space due to HERO™ tweeter placement in nozzle - Complex routing around the tweeter while maintaining optimal bore sizes - Precise phase alignment between drivers - Balancing acoustic impedance across frequencies.
Evolution Through Experience:
This isn’t a ‘copy-paste’ solution - it’s a philosophy that must be adapted for each design. Every IEM configuration requires fresh calculations and creative problem-solving. What worked for custom IEMs needed complete rethinking for Terra’s hybrid configuration.
The result:
The result is a carefully orchestrated system where each frequency range travels its optimal path, working together to create a coherent, natural sound presentation.

How a last-minute gamble transformed Terra
Sometimes the biggest breakthroughs come from challenging your own assumptions:
The Pandemic Pivot (2020-2021):
When COVID-19 shut down live music, our professional monitor business faced unprecedented challenges. Instead of retreating, we used this period to master DLP 3D printing technology. This evolution made our IEMs smaller, more comfortable, and more consistent - a silver lining in difficult times.
By 2021, we were confidently designing and 3D printing monitors, making them significantly smaller, more comfortable, and more consistent than ever before. This experience would prove invaluable in Terra’s development.
The Comfortable Zone (Late 2023):
By December 2023, we had two perfect Terra prototypes, built using our refined 3D printing process. Then came a suggestion that would change everything - what if we made it from aluminum?
The Decision:
For a small manufacturer comfortable with resin-based production, switching to CNC-machined aluminum seemed almost impossible. Our recent experience with stainless steel elements in Anima V2 gave us some confidence, but this was different - a complete aluminum housing requiring perfect acoustic properties.
The Three-Month Sprint:
The decision to switch to aluminum meant completely redesigning Terra: - Every millimeter mattered due to specific aluminum wall thickness requirements - Internal components needed repositioning - New assembly processes had to be developed - Different adhesives needed testing.
The PISO Evolution:
Our journey with PISO technology began in 2020 with the first Anima. For Terra, we faced a new challenge: how to perfectly integrate these beautiful plates with aluminum? Through countless trials and errors, we developed a process where plates are bonded to aluminum face plates, then hand-finished with carefully selected clear resin.
The result:
When we added the final touch - that subtle green tint - and saw the finished product, we knew we had created something special. The first customer photos and reactions confirmed it - breaking out of our comfort zone had paid off.
The Lesson:
Technical heritage should be a foundation for growth, not an anchor holding you back. By challenging our assumptions and pushing beyond established patterns, we created something we’re incredibly proud of.

Why measurements tell only half the story
The story of Terra’s sound signature reflects a deeper philosophy about what truly matters in audio:
The All-Rounder Challenge:
Our fundamental goal with Terra was to create a true all-rounder - headphones that would excel with any genre while remaining truthful to the music. But this raised an interesting question: what does ‘truthful’ really mean?
The Measurement Paradox:I
n traditional speaker design, the holy grail has always been a perfectly linear frequency response - a straight line from 20Hz to 20kHz. This engineering-driven approach treats speakers like measurement devices, where input should equal output. But human hearing is far more complex.
The Human Factor:
Our ears aren’t measurement microphones. When we hear speakers in a room: - Our ear canal naturally boosts certain frequencies (pinna gain) - Our chest cavity enhances bass perception - Room acoustics add their own character - Our brain processes these complex relationships in real-time.
The Target Curve Evolution:
Recent years have seen various attempts to standardize IEM tuning - Harman, Etymotic, and others. But we discovered something crucial: a single target curve isn’t enough. Why? Because identical measurements can sound completely different.
The Family Approach:
Instead of chasing one perfect line, we work with a ‘family of curves’ - a target range that considers: - Different driver characteristics - Complex interactions between frequencies - How our brain processes these relationships - The emotional impact of sound.
The Voice Analogy:
If frequency response told the whole story, we could use an equalizer to turn Tina Turner’s voice into Luciano Pavarotti’s. But we can’t - because their voices differ in countless subtle ways beyond simple frequency balance. Similarly, IEMs are like vocal instruments: - Dynamic driver as the diaphragm - Mid-range drivers as the throat - Tweeters as the mouth and articulators Each component contributes its unique character to the whole.
The Musical Truth:
During Terra’s development, we often faced a choice: make it measure better or make it sound better. Our philosophy is clear - headphones are for listening, not for looking at graphs. While measurements guide us, the final arbiter is always the human ear and its million-year evolution of understanding sound.
The Real Test:
Your brain doesn’t care about measurement curves. It cares about how real instruments sound, how voices carry emotion, how music makes you feel. That’s why Terra’s final tuning came from extensive listening - not just by us, but by trusted community members worldwide.
Remember:
We don’t listen to graphs. We listen to music.
